Into the Woods is directed by Lear deBessonet, music direction by Rob Berman with The Encores! Orchestra, and choreographed by Lorin Latarro. James Theatre, ahead of an official opening night on July 10. Performances begin Tuesday, June 28 at the St. Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, announced additional casting today for the hugely acclaimed and completely sold-out New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s beloved musical, Into the Woods, for the strictly limited, 8-week engagement on Broadway. What skeleton would you hang out with as Hades?I know things now, and it’s more exciting casting for the starry revival of Into the Woods! After you are all dressed you are ready to hang out with the skeletons and spirits of the underworld! Put the pin over one shoulder and do your hair and makeup blue. Put on your maxi dress, if you want you can wear it off one shoulder or wear a grey shirt underneath.

This will make it stand up the way you want it to. Wrap your hair around the wire and use elastics to secure it to the wire. Wrap wire around the base of the ponytail, sticking the wire straight into the air. Bake the pin in the oven for 20 minutes at 220 degrees. Use a pin to draw in your eyes and teeth.Īfter your pin is formed, push a pin back into the back of the clay. Form the shape of your skull with a half-circle on top that comes down to form the teeth of the skeleton face. Warm up the clay in your hands until it is easy to mold. Start pulling up the plastic backing and if any of the elements pull up at all, put the plastic back down and iron that area again.Īfter your dress is finished, you just need to make your pin. Iron straight onto the plastic, making sure each element of the design gets 30 seconds of pressure and hit. Place the triangles sticky side down onto your shirt. Iron your triangles around the collar of the dress. Heat your iron up to the hottest setting to 305 degrees. I ended up using eight triangles that were about 2 inches wide at the base of them. The number of triangles you will need will vary with the size of your dress. The nice thing about the simplicity of this shape is that it is easy to cut with scissors! I used my cutting machine but you could simply trace your triangles onto the iron-on with a marker and then cut them out if you don’t have a cutting machine. Take the black maxi dress and trim off the sleeves and neckline, right above the seams.Ĭut blue triangles out of heat transfer. All it took was a black maxi dress, some scissors, a little bit of iron-on and some clay to make her Hades dreams come true. She would be the God of the Underworld after all. When I found the unicorn skeleton, my younger daughter flipped! She kept telling me that if she was Hades (she is obsessed with Descendents right now) she would be sure to have a unicorn skeleton for a pet.
